Medicine Cabinet, 2017

Medicine Cabinet is an work created in 2017 as a response to the Me Too movement. The assemblage considers life after trauma, distilling my own experiences into carefully curated objects. The work is not just about the material cabinet and its wares, but also the sustained focus, intentionality, and bravery of meditating on this subject for weeks in order to produce a piece that speaks to other survivors. Medicine Cabinet offers the viewer my narrative of reconciling life after trauma.
